Del Lago Golf Club

Situated in a perfect place, surrounded by tall pine trees and the magnificent lagoon Del Sauce, Del Lago Golf Club plays like more of a combination of desert golf and links which features wide fairways that drift off into the surrounding arroyos and valleys that leads to the large greens. This high course, that rests at an elevation of 3,400 feet, offers either one of the many lakes or threads through strategically placed bunkers that are ready to catch the slightest mistake of every shot. Be sure to spend a golf vacation at Del Lago when planning to experience the best in desert golf.

The views of the Rincon , Santa Catalina, and Santa Rita mountains from Del Lago Golf Club are spectacular. This 18-hole course features 7,206 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 requires every club in the golfer’s bag and a good supply of nerves on slick, undulating greens. Del Lago is really not far out of town as what people perceive. It’s just a short drive east of Tucson to the Vail Road exit. The clubhouse includes a full-service pro shop, a bar and grill. Green fees are also golfer-friendly considering the quality of the course. A golf trip to Del Lago gives its guests the opportunity to learn how to play golf, or for amateurs, to enhance their golfing skills with its gigantic practice facilities in the area – including a driving range, practice bunker, and a 12,000 square foot practice green.

Opened in 1981, Dave Marr and Jay Riviere designed Del Lago Golf Club to give the visitors a relaxing sense of playing up high. From up above, the place gives you the view of the beautiful world around it. A golf vacation at Del Lago is a one of a kind experience that no golf course elsewhere could offer.
