The Crystal Springs Golf Course has been considered as one of northeastern United States’ finest layouts. Since the course’s debut in 1992, it has already received various citations including “The Best Public Golf Course in New Jersey” by The Jersey Golfer, “Top 25 New Golf Courses in America” by Golf Digest Magazine, and the “Top 10 List for Public Golf Courses in New Jersey” by Golf Digest. Each year, golfers from the different parts of the globe flock this beautiful golf haven to experience New Jersey’s most challenging holes that will surely test even that of the professional and skilled golf enthusiasts.
This award-winning 6,800-yard layout was designed by the famous Robert Von Hagge, one of the United States’ leading golf course architects. The course was given a course rating of 74.1 and a slope rating of 137 from the Black tees. What was once a limestone quarrying site has now turned into a golf gem and continues to attract golfers for a golfing experience that is beyond compare. This magnificent layout also features the sculpted mounds which border the bent grass greens and fairways and add up to the contrast between the roughs and the rest of the layout while furnishing each hole with its distinctive characteristic.
The golf course also features about 58 bunkers as well as the challenging water hazards on five of the layout’s holes. Aside from the golf course, guests are also provided with a Pro Shop, Snack Bar, and the large Driving Range, Putting Green, and Chipping Area. Guests can also relax in the Adirondack-style, 53,000 square feet Clubhouse with excellent services from its personnel.
