Duran Golf Club

Florida GolfThe Duran Golf Club now stands to what was once a flourishing sod farm and cattle ranch owned by A. Duda & Sons Incorporated and has been passed from one generation to another. The resort’s architect, Lewis “Chip” Powell, has added millions of cubic yards of earth in order to come up with a golf masterpiece that carries a link characteristic. This unique layout now features the gently undulating terrains, mounded greens, open fairways, and the rolling terrains. Adding up to the landscape’s natural feel are the lakes, ponds, native palms, cypresses, oaks, and the numerous native grasses making the place a suitable golf vacation destination.

Since it opened in 2005, the Duran Golf Club has been attracting all sorts of golfers from across the nation. The layout offers guests the par-72; 7,151 yard of play that has a course rating of 74.0 and a slope rating of 132. When at play, golfers will come across the large chipping areas and fast true-putting greens that would require their shot making skills for scoring opportunities. Off the tee are the open fairways allowing the golfers to swing freely.

Being considered as an ultimate golf vacation destination, The Duran Golf Club has also been cited by the Space Coast Living Magazine as well as the Florida Today Newspaper as the “Best Golf Course on the Space Coast”. Aside from the challenging holes, the resort also features the lighted Development Center that has a unique 9-hole “Short Course” and an expansive practice range. And with the warm hospitality that the resort staff offers, stopping by for great rounds on the greens can be a golfing experience of a lifetime. The resort is just located in Melbourne west of I-95.
