The Tradition Golf Club

Set in a sprawling and rolling terrain north of North Mecklenburg County, The Tradition Golf Club is a very scenic golf course that was literally carved out of the dense hardwoods. This John Cassel golf gem was opened in 1999 and has then attracted all sorts of golfers across the globe.  This golf vacation destination also has the layout that surprisingly mixes a blend of natural splendor with the feel of championship golf. John Cassel successfully creates a grand, tree-lined layout which effectively delights the senses, and challenges every golfer’s skills.

The Tradition Golf Club is an 18-hole, 6,978–yard golf course with a par of 72. The golf course has as rating of 72.29 and a slope rating of 140. This golf vacation destination also has facilities for leisure and dining. Within the property is a 5,400 square foot clubhouse, a fully-stocked pro golf shop, driving range and practice facilities. The driving range is open from morning to afternoon, and can easily accommodate up to 35 golfers on the grass tees. It also has a chipping green, which offers five flag sticks to help improve a golfer’s game, along with rolling mounds that help simulate the design of an actual golf course.

Although some observers argue that The Tradition’s course does not offer a lot of surprises, the truth is that the holes can get quite tough. Golfers will come across a lot of rigorously-elevated and sloped greens, and there’s too much brush in the woods to make finding your lost ball a bit tricky. The Tradition Golf Club is located just a few minutes north of uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. For your next golf vacation package planning, do include the Tradition Golf Club in your range of options. Here, you’ll be sure to bask in the natural beauty of the place, as well as experience the thrill of playing championship-caliber golf.
