Baywood Golf Club

The Baywood Golf Club is a premier par-72 golf facility set right in North Carolina Golfthe heart of the redwoods in California where the forest greets the sea. Often dubbed as one of the hidden treasures of the North Coast, the golf layout is all about challenging holes and the exceptional views of nature’s wonders. This 18-hole semi-private golf layout that opened in 1990 was designed by the famed Stewart Gooden. Golfers that flock the golf club encounter the challenging 6,763-yards that were granted 115 slope rating and 71.5 course rating.

The golf club also features the four sets of tees to test the skills of various golfers whether beginners or the professionals. Although this championship layout is set in a flat terrain, golfers can still come across various obstacles and traps including the water hazards, sand bunkers, elevated greens, and the generous fairways. Its #8 signature hole that plays a 170-yard par 3 would require an accurate tee shot over water. The challenging water hazards come can come into play on the layout’s several holes. Since the golf club’s inception, Baywood has been described by guests as a golf course that one will never tire of playing as well as an experience that is beyond compare.

In 2003, the golf course underwent major renovations including the addition of the pristine TifEagle greens to make golf an unforgettable experience. Aside from the golf course, guests can also take advantage of the 15-acre practice area, a clubhouse that houses a pro shop and the snack area. When off the golf course, guests can bond with family and friends at the large swimming pool or at the separate bar and grill.
