Breathtaking Bermuda landscape with stunning ocean views is what the Port Royal Club in Bermuda is all about. This 18-hole championship layout was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., a world-renowned golf course architect. Set in well manicured greens that are about 6,842 yards, the Port Royal is now considered as one of the premier public golf courses in the world that boasts about the TifEagle greens, sweeping ocean views from each hole, and the modernized irrigation system. In 2009, the entire layout underwent major renovations done by the famed Roger Rulewich. Golfers can now expect the more challenging rounds with the rebuilding of the layout’s bunkers. To add up to the challenge, golfers will also have an encounter in one of the world’s greatest par three at the layout’s 238-yard, crescent-shaped 16th hole.
The layout also features the 300-yard driving range with an oceanfront setting where golfers can take rounds of warming up before getting into the greens for the challenging tee times. After taking rounds of swinging those golf clubs, golfers can now share a meal or two or a chat over a sip of wine at the course’s luxurious clubhouse. Guests from all parts of the globe flock the resort not just to play at one of the world’s finest greens but also to experience a quiet refuge with nature at it’s finest. The place also boasts of its fully-stocked golf shop where guests can avail an array of high quality golf apparels and equipments.
