Some golfers play for competition – they live to win every single round and make an oath to be the next Mickelson or Nicklaus. Some play for fun. Others, to relax and unwind, taking epic golf vacations every now and then. For whatever reason a golfer plays, there is room to play for everyone at the Canyons Course of the Oasis Golf Club.
This beautiful course in Mesquite, Nevada, is the remodeled Vistas nine of the Oasis Golf Club. The golf vacation destination is an 18-hole par-71 spectacle that stretches to 6,408 yards from the longest tees. It having 5 sets of tees makes it a perfect choice for golfers of any handicap. The fast Bermuda greens and the views of the Mesquite mountainscape make it a refreshing and scenic treat to the golfers. Its brand of difficulty is complex; it stands somewhere between refreshing and challenging. Simply put, the Canyons Course of the Oasis Golf Club is a player friendly course – regardless of the player’s purpose or ability.
Its designer, David Druzisky, incorporated the old nine of the Vistas with the newer Arroyo nine to build the Canyons Course of the Oasis Golf Club. He modeled the course layout in such a way that it not only is beautiful on its own but is a perfect compliment to its natural setting. It was built to compliment its more difficult sibling course, the Palmer. For players on golf trip, this is a perfect stopover where they can choose to be a champion or a king just lounging up for a day at the greens.
